Dhaka Bank PLC has signed participation agreements with Bangladesh Bank for refinance scheme under the 3,000.00 crore “Cluster Financing Scheme” and 1,500.00 crore “Financial Sector Fund for the Development of MSMEs (FSFDMSME). Under this agreement Dhaka Bank will provide loans to cluster entrepreneurs and MSMEs at a concessional interest rate of 7%.
The signing ceremony was held on 18 May 2026 at the Jahangir Alam Conference Hall of Bangladesh Bank, where Mr. Nawshad Mustafa, Director of SMESPD of BB and Mr. A K M Shahnawaj, Additional Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations in the presence of Ms. Nurun Nahar, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank and chief guest of the occasion.
Among others, Ms. Husna Ara Shikha, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman Palash, EVP & Head of MSME & Emerging Business Division of Dhaka Bank and other officials of Bangladesh Bank were also present in the signing ceremony.
