Dhaka Bank PLC has been honored with the “Branding Award (Silver) 2026” in recognition of its significant contribution to the “Branding Bangladesh” initiative. The initiative is organized by the Center for NRB to engage and inspire Bangladeshi expatriates worldwide.

The award was presented on Sunday, 12 April 2026, at the opening ceremony of the World Conference Series 2026 (WCS 2026) titled “Branding Bangladesh Beyond Bangladesh” organized by Center for NRB at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka. The award was received by the bank’s Deputy Managing Director, A. M. M. Moyen Uddin and Head of Communications & Branding, Syed G. Dastagir.

The event was presided over by Mr. M. S. Shekil Chowdhury, Chairman of the Center for NRB. The Chief Guest was Mr. Zahir Uddin Swapan, MP, Honorable Minister of Information and Broadcasting.

Special Guests included Ms. Shama Obaid, MP, Honorable State Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Nurul Haque Nur, MP, Honorable Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment. The ceremony was also attended by distinguished dignitaries and professionals from various sectors.
