Dhaka Bank PLC proudly announces that a select group of its employees have been recognized under the “Visa Outstanding Contributors – 2025” initiative by Visa. The recognition program took place at Dhaka Bank PLC Corporate Office on 16 February 2026.

The event was attended by senior management of Dhaka Bank PLC, including Managing Director and CEO Osman Ershad Faiz, Deputy Managing Director and CEMO Md. Mostaque Ahmed, and SEVP and Head of Retail Business H. M. Mostafizur Rahaman. Visa was represented by Sabbir Ahmed, Country Manager, and Arifur Rahman, Director, Business Development, South Asia.

Dhaka Bank PLC expressed appreciation for this initiative and stated that individual recognition strengthens accountability and reinforces a performance-driven culture. Each year, Visa Inc. recognizes partner institutions through the Visa Payment Excellence Awards, which reflect overall organizational performance. To complement this, Visa has launched a dedicated recognition program to honor individual contributors who delivered outstanding results in 2025.

Under this initiative, selected employees from Dhaka Bank PLC received recognition for their direct contribution to card business growth. Their work across cards, digital banking and payment operations led to higher transaction volume, improved card activation and stronger customer engagement.
