Dhaka Bank Strengthens AI Readiness Through AI Foundation & Proficiency Training Program

In line with its commitment to building a future-ready workforce and accelerating digital transformation, Dhaka Bank PLC successfully organized the second batch of the “AI Foundation & Proficiency Training Program” at Dhaka Bank Training Institute [DBTI].

The four-day intensive, lab-based training program was designed to strengthen employees’ understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), develop practical AI proficiency, and enable participants to effectively integrate AI tools into day-to-day banking activities. The program focused on enhancing workplace productivity, fostering innovation, supporting informed decision-making, and preparing employees to adapt to the rapidly evolving digital banking landscape. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Mahadib Hadi, AI Expert and Facilitator from Build Nation, who engaged participants through interactive discussions, live demonstrations, practical exercises, and hands-on applications of AI tools relevant to the modern workplace. Throughout the program, participants explored practical ways of leveraging AI to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, collaboration, productivity, and customer service. The hands-on learning approach provided participants with opportunities to apply AI tools in practical scenarios and develop greater confidence in using emerging technologies in their professional roles.

The program reflects Dhaka Bank’s continued emphasis on developing the capabilities required for an increasingly technology-driven banking environment. By strengthening AI literacy and practical proficiency among its employees, the Bank aims to encourage responsible adoption of emerging technologies and cultivate a workforce that is agile, innovative, and prepared for the future of banking.
