Dhaka Bank PLC has inaugurated a new collection booth at the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Zone-2 (Khilgaon) Office to facilitate the collection of Holding Tax and Trade License Fees from residents and business owners under the jurisdiction of DSCC Zone-2.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the DSCC Zone-2 (Khilgaon) Office in Dhaka on July 22, 2026. The booth was formally inaugurated by Mr. Osman Ershad Faiz, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Mr. Md. Abdus Salam, Hon’ble Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation.

Also present at the ceremony were Mr. Sheikh Abdul Bakir, Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Mr. Md. Zahirul Islam, CEO of Dhaka South City Corporation. Among the distinguished attendees were Mr. Junayed Kabir, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Dhaka South City Corporation; Ms. Akther Unnisa Shiuly, Zonal Executive Officer, Zone-2, Dhaka South City Corporation; Mr. Mosleh Saad Mahmud, Head of Liability & Cash Management, Dhaka Bank PLC; along with other senior officials from both organizations.

The newly established booth will enable residents and business owners of DSCC Zone-2 (Khilgaon) to conveniently pay their Holding Tax and Trade License Fees in person at the designated collection point.

In addition to the physical booth service, Dhaka Bank PLC continues to offer multiple convenient payment channels for DSCC taxpayers. Holding Tax and Trade License Fees can be paid in real time through any branch of Dhaka Bank PLC across the country. Customers can also make payments anytime and from anywhere through the Dhaka Bank Mobile App and Internet Banking platform, a service that has been available since the end of January 2025.

As part of its ongoing collaboration with Dhaka South City Corporation to promote digital and accessible public service delivery, Dhaka Bank PLC. previously inaugurated its first DSCC collection booth at Nagar Bhaban on July 2, 2025, followed by a second booth at Dhalpur on October 30, 2025. The inauguration of the third collection booth at DSCC Zone-2 (Khilgaon) further strengthens the Bank’s commitment to providing efficient, secure, and customer-friendly tax and fee collection services.
