Dhaka Bank Training Institute Concludes 87th Banking Foundation Program

Dhaka Bank Training Institute (DBTI) successfully concluded its 20-day intensive Banking Foundation Program (87th Batch) at its premises recently. The program was designed to equip the next generation bankers with essential professional skills and comprehensive industry knowledge. The batch comprised 33 enthusiastic participants, including Trainee Officers and Trainee Assistant Officers. During the four-week long program, participants underwent rigorous training modules covering core general banking operations, credit risk management, international trade finance, law and other compliance related issues. In addition to internal speakers, distinguished external resource persons from BFIU, BIBM, and experienced professionals from the banking industry conducted several sessions. An industry visit was also arranged to provide practical exposure and real-world insights.

The Certificate Awarding and Closing Ceremony was graced by Mr. A. K. M. Shahnawaj, Additional Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and continuous learning in navigating the evolving financial landscape. Mr. M. Rezaur Rahman, SEVP & Head of HRD, attended the program as the Special Guest, highlighting the Bank’s strong commitment to talent development and human capital growth. The event was hosted and coordinated by Mr. Sujan K. Ghosh, AVP & In-Charge of DBTI. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates among the successful participants, marking the beginning of their professional journey within the Dhaka Bank family.
