Benefits for Dhaka Bank credit card holders
“Credit Shield Program” is a Quintuple Benefit insurance Plan for Dhaka Bank credit cardholders. Under this plan the cardholder can enjoy valuable coverage at a nominal monthly premium of 14.2 Paisa for every BDT 100 of outstanding dues on their card. In the event of death or permanent total disability the entire dues on the cardholder’s outstanding will be waived and additionally the cardholder or his/her successor will receive the following compensation:

  • Accidental Death: 100% card outstanding due will be settled; additionally 3 times of the outstanding due will be provided to the successors.
  • Death due to sickness: 100% card outstanding due will be settled; additionally 100% of the outstanding due amount will be provided to the successors.
  • Critical Illness: In the event of being diagnosed with any of the 13 critical diseases* 50% of last month’s outstanding due will be compensated to the cardholder’s account.
  • The maximum value of the total benefit will not exceed Tk.40, 00,000 (forty lac)

The monthly premium will be charged to the cardholder’s account and appear on their monthly statement as proof of payment of premium for the coverage.
