Dhaka Bank Introduces “Empower- Dhaka Bank Aroni” to Strengthen Women’s Financial Security
Dhaka Bank PLC. has introduced a new women-focused savings product titled “Empower – Dhaka Bank Aroni” under its women banking platform “Dhaka Bank Aroni.” The initiative aims to empower women financially by combining attractive savings returns with insurance protection and exclusive health and lifestyle benefits.
The product was launched in the presence of the Managing Director and CEO of Dhaka Bank- Mr. Osman Ershad Faiz, Mr. A K M Shahnawaj, Additional Managing Director; Mr. Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director & CEMO; and Mr. H.M. Mostafizur Rahaman, SEVP & Head of Retail Business Division, along with other senior officials from branches and the head office of Dhaka Bank PLC.
The Empower Aroni Savings Account offers women customers competitive returns on their savings while providing a range of value-added benefits designed to strengthen their financial stability and overall wellbeing. Customers maintaining a specified monthly average balance will receive an additional 2% higher interest compared to regular savings accounts, encouraging disciplined savings and long-term financial planning.
A key feature of the account is its built-in insurance protection, offered in partnership with MetLife. The product provides Accidental Death coverage of BDT 500,000 along with In-Hospital Cash support of BDT 3,000 per day for up to 30 consecutive days per instance, helping customers manage unexpected medical expenses and ensuring financial protection for their families.
In addition to financial security, the account offers a variety of health and wellness benefits. Account holders will enjoy complimentary health check-ups, video consultations with doctors, vaccination discounts, and special health and wellness offers through partner merchants.
